"What is a refugee?"

BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity. They are dedicated to getting children reading. Each year the BookTrust reaches millions of children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading.

The BookTrust website offers a useful list of children's books about refugees and asylum seekers. These books explore what it really means to flee your home and have to start your life over.
